Dr Ali gained his general degree in medicine from Tehran in 2003, and he worked there as a GP for the following 10 years. After additional studies in Opthalmology in Malaysia, Dr Ali has undertaken considerable further studies in Australia. For 5 years he was based in Wangaratta as a GP, and gained considerable experience in the delivery of rural General Practice which he finds to be a very satisfying form of medical work, full of variety. Dr Ali’s special training has included skin checks and melanoma detection, STIs, dementia detection, nutrition, and management of osteoarthritis. He is excited about setting down roots in the Yarra Valley on his hobby farm!
He also speaks Farsi.
