
PRACTICE NURSE
Amy is a local to the Yarra Valley and completed her Bachelor of Nursing in Sydney in 1996. This led her to nurse overseas in Ireland and England. She also volunteered her health skills amongst refugees in Indonesia by working in disaster relief, teaching health care, working in mobile clinics and setting up a long-term clinic.
Amy completed her Certificate in Emergency Nursing in 2005 where she has worked at Maroondah Hospital in the Emergency Department. She has also worked in Aboriginal health in the Northern Territory and at Mount Hotham Medical Clinic during the ski seasons.
Urgent Care is her passion, along with immunisations and women’s health. Amy believes in treating the patient as a whole including their physical, emotional and spiritual health.
Amy works three days a week.
