Dr Michael “Mike” Hewson has worked in the local area for over 20 years. He completed a degree in science at Melbourne University and then obtained his medical degrees in 1985 there also.
Dr Mike subsequently underwent hospital training in numerous areas of medicine and surgery in Mildura and Shepparton, with special interest in Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics. He has previously worked in General Practice in the Goulburn Valley, the Latrobe Valley and the Yarra Valley.
Dr Mike is a principal GP supervisor for GP trainees and registrars in the RACGP training programme.
